More consistent flow from the main hydraulic pump contributes to numerous excavator performance enhancements. The high-pressure common rail fuel injected engine and Electronic Power Optimizing System (EPOS) delivers optimum power and fuel efficiency.
More Work. Less Fuel.
Keeping your fuel costs low directly impacts your bottom line. It also means you’ll spend more time working and less time fueling. Efficiency is also improved with auto idle, which automatically reduces engine speed when machine functions aren’t being used. Additionally, auto shutdown helps save fuel and reduce unnecessary noise by shutting down the machine’s engine after a set period of inactivity.
Full Auxiliary Hydraulic Flow Control.
From a dial on the control console, change the auxiliary hydraulic flow rate for one-way flow attachments (i.e. breaker) or two-way flow attachments (i.e. clamp). A switch on the control panel allows you to select one-way or two-way hydraulic flow.
To maximize excavator and attachment performance, the operator can select from up to 10 user-defined and configured attachments via the LCD monitor, ensuring that proper flow and pressure are programmed for each attachment correctly.

• In float mode, the boom is allowed to move up and down freely, without hydraulic flow, making it ideal for finishing work and truck loading

The control pattern change valve allows easy changes from ISO to BHL to match your preference for maximum productivity.

Each Doosan crawler excavator is designed for long life with a sturdy frame and reinforced upper structure.
Pin points on the boom and arm are cast for extra strength in tough working conditions. Additional reinforcement around the bosses and internal gussets ensure long life for your workgroup, even in tough applications.
The bucket pivot pin features a polymer shim to reduce wear and increase grease retention, while bushings and ultra hard wear disks are designed for extended service intervals and steady performance.
Doosan Connect Telematics
Doosan Connect Telematics provides machine intelligence from a device that comes standard on most Doosan machines. The device communicates wirelessly through cellular or satellite communication, making a wide range of machine information available to owners, dealers, and Doosan. Machine information can be viewed via the CoreTMS website from a computer or smartphone. Available information includes fleet status, machine location, operating hours, fuel usage, engine idle vs work time, error codes, engine/hydraulic oil temperature and various other data points. Efficient Cooling System
Cooling systems on Doosan excavators have more cooling capacity. On select models, a variable speed hydraulic cooling fan regulates airflow through the oil cooler. The increased cooling capacity allows the engine to run more efficiently at the optimal operating temperature range.
Select machines feature separate engine and oil cooling systems, each with its own cooling fan. On models equipped with a variable speed hydraulic cooling fan, the cooling system is allowed to operate at its optimum temperature to increase efficiency and extend the life of components.
Easy Maintenance
A durable x-chassis, strengthened boom and arm assembly, and extended greasing intervals reduce maintenance costs and extend machine life. Easily access the battery, oil filter, air cleaner, fuel filter, radiators and other engine components.
The greasing system simplifies boom and arm daily maintenance. From centralized locations that are accessible from ground level, you can quickly grease multiple areas of the arm and boom.
Other features include boom pivot bushings with greasing intervals of 250 hours, bucket pins with greasing intervals of 50 hours, a block heater, an automatic belt tensioner, and a large-capacity engine air pre-cleaner that removes more than 99 percent of airborne particles and extends filter cartridge service life.

The pressurized cab keeps the operator environment clean and comfortable, while sound suppression keeps machine noise low to reduce operator fatigue. A new cabin mount reduces cab vibration by 20 percent and noise levels by 1.8 dBa. A new door window position delivers improved visibility.
A reclining, height and weight-adjustable air suspension seat offers better lumbar support and includes a headrest and adjustable armrest. An emergency engine stop is located at the base of the seat.
Simple Controls
Work naturally with controls that are right where you need them. Easy-to-operate joystick controls make precise machine movements easy, while additional buttons are available for control of equipment such as hydraulic clamps. The high-performance air conditioning offers adjustable airflow and five operating modes.
Delivering More Critical Information
Your machine keeps you in the know with an easy-to-read, multi-function display panel. It informs operators of the engine coolant temperature, fuel & DEF level and hydraulic oil temperature. It also includes the digital engine RPM and 15 different machine warnings. Monitor your fuel usage with gauges that display both levels and consumption.
All models include a standard rear view camera that can display machine information and video simultaneously. A side view camera is optional. Choose between three display modes:
